The Ivan Sellers Gallery is named after former sculpture student - Ivan Sellers, who studied at the Alberta University of the Arts (former ACAD), prior to his passing from cancer on September 22, 2001. Ivan was a insightful individual, a richly talented artist, musician and thinker. The gallery serves to honour his memory and dedicated contribution to contemporary sculptural production.

The Ivan Sellers Gallery is a student-run space open to all students and faculty members at the Alberta University of the Arts (formerly ACAD) for the purpose of studio critiques, performances, events and exhibitions. The gallery is located in Room 116 on the first floor the AUArts campus, while priority bookings are given to Sculpture Majors.
